  Clean and affordable place to stay if you don't mind a communal bathroom. Great buffet and cheap drinks. The 100 year old building certainly has character and the service was extremely friendly and attending. We'll certainly come back if we are back in the area. What they may have lacked in amenities they certainly made up with great service.

  Pub is a surprise huge dining area open fire alfresco limited wine selection friendly staff food well catered big or small servings recommend it definitely

  Visiting with my mum over the Easter weekend. Wandered in because the place looked cute, lovely building. Staff were all very friendly, attentive and laid back, and service was fast. Food was classic and tasty. Desserts were fantastic! Had the poached figs and cardamom braised berries, both with whiskey cream and ice cream. Delicious!

  This historic hotel/restaurant/bar has some definite character! The staff were great and the buffet food was excellent. It's a great spot to stop while on a road trip with simple but clean lodging. I didn't even mind the communal bathroom.
